Products
The Ember Society is an independent retailer and curator of home fragrance and related products.
Products may be manufactured and supplied by third-party brands and manufacturers. Where applicable, the relevant brand is identified on the product page.
References to third-party brands do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or a relationship beyond our legitimate supply or retail relationship unless expressly stated.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, images, sizes, specifications and pricing are accurate.
Colours and product appearance may vary slightly depending on photography, screen settings and natural variations in individual products.
Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it.
If we are unable to fulfil an order after payment has been received, we will contact you and refund the amount paid for the unavailable item.
Prices
Prices shown on our UK website are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).
The total product price and applicable delivery charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Where VAT applies, consumer prices displayed on the website will include applicable VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.
There will be no undisclosed mandatory charges added after you have placed your order.
Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
You will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging your order.
A contract between you and us is formed when we accept and process your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing error, payment has not been authorised or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If payment has already been taken for an order that we cancel, you will receive an appropriate refund.

Payments are processed securely by our payment providers.
We do not require customers to make payment outside the payment methods offered through our official checkout.

Please ensure that the delivery address submitted with your order is accurate.
Some products may be dispatched directly from one of our brand or supplier partners.
Returns and Cancellation

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Faulty Products
Products supplied must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose and as described.

Candles, wax melts, fragrance oils, diffusers, room sprays and similar products must be used only as directed.
Where a product is manufactured by a third-party brand, product-specific ingredients, safety instructions and warnings are provided by or originate from the relevant manufacturer.

From time to time, information may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies. Where an obvious error affects an order, we will contact you before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.
