Clean spills immediately by gently blotting the affected area with a clean, dry sponge or cloth. Avoid rubbing the stain, as this may spread the liquid further into the fibres. The use of harsh chemicals or strong cleaning agents is not recommended.
For added safety and longevity, the use of an anti-slip rug grip is recommended on all floor surfaces. This helps prevent slipping, provides additional cushioning, and improves the overall durability of the rug.
For deeper or heavy cleaning, professional rug cleaning is advised to maintain the quality and appearance of the rug.
When vacuuming, avoid using a beater bar. If your vacuum cleaner has adjustable settings, select the highest pile setting. Where variable power levels are available, set the vacuum to low power to protect the fibres.
Vacuum in straight lines along the full length of the rug, then rotate and repeat. Avoid a vigorous back-and-forth dragging motion, as this may damage the pile. Please note that high-powered vacuums may cause damage if used incorrectly.
